Multicamera filming

with Sony High-Definition Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras

For conferences, seminars, shareholder meetings, AGMs, concerts - in fact anything that happens on a stage - PTZ cameras are an efficient and cost-effective way to achieve similar coverage to a full-scale outside broadcast at a fraction of the cost. I should know - I ran an OB van for ten years!

Of course PTZ cameras can be combined with conventional hand-held cameras and jibs if the budget can run to a full crew, but for most events, that's simply not necessary.

Check out the video below to see how it works.

Multicamera filming with ptz

We tried out a 4-camera PTZ shoot (in a very confined space) at "Jeremy's at the Boathouse" to show how it's possible to film (or stream live) with multiple cameras and no camera crew. PTZ cameras have remote-controlled Pan, Tilt and Zoom functions. The operator can also adjust the exposure and focus from the control-panel.

Could a PTZ shoot work for you?
